Open Position — Marketing Manager
We are looking for a marketing specialist to focus on our social media presence and creating a marketing strategy. The Marketing Manager will administer the company’s social media marketing and advertising. Administration includes but is not limited to:
Deliberate planning and goal setting
Development of brand awareness and online reputation
SEO (search engine optimization) and generation of inbound traffic
The Marketing Manager is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers. That passion comes through as he/she engages with online visitors on a daily basis, with the ultimate goal of turning fans into customers or travelers.
Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities including:
Develop relevant content topics to reach potential donors and travel candidates.
Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).
Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.).
Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.
Manage efforts in building online reviews and reputation. Monitor online reviews and respond to each review.
Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.
Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
Demonstrate ability to map out a comprehensive marketing plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.
Develop organizational elements in order to implement a proactive process for capturing happy, loyal customer online reviews.
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. Marketing degree is welcomed but not required with relevant work experience.
Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media. (Give links to profiles as examples).
Proficient in content marketing theory and application.
Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
Open Position — Finance Director
The Director of Finance and Administration will be a strategic thought-partner, and report to the executive director (ED). The successful candidate will be a hands-on and participative manager and will lead and develop an internal team to support the following areas: finance, business planning and budgeting, human resources, administration, and IT.
The Director of Finance and Administration will play a critical role in partnering with the senior leadership team in strategic decision making and operations as XYZ Nonprofit continues to enhance its quality programming and build capacity. This is a tremendous opportunity for a finance and operations leader to maximize and strengthen the internal capacity of a well-respected, high-impact organization.
Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements; collate financial reporting materials for all donor segments, and oversee all financial, project/program and grants accounting.
Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors; assess any changes necessary.
Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the ED; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes
Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting.
Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices; improve the finance department’s overall policy and procedure manual.
Minimum of a BA, ideally with an MBA/CPA or related degree
The ideal candidate has experience of final responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting and audit coordination for either a division or significant program area, and has preferably overseen a human resources function previously
Ability to translate financial concepts to – and to effectively collaborate with -- programmatic and fundraising colleagues who do not necessarily have finance backgrounds
Open Position —Director of Design & Communications
The Director of Design and Communications will coordinate the organization's overall communications strategy. The Director will work collaboratively to develop and implement communication strategies to broaden the impact of Empathy FX Intl’s programs and oversee organizational messaging and constituent services.
Collaborate with the ED to develop communications strategies that will broaden programmatic reach and deepen impact
Develop and refine Empathy FX Intl’s "core" messages to ensure organizational consistency
Develop flyers and oversee web design
Serve as executive editor for the organization's website
Oversee organizational response to inquiries about Empathy FX Intl
Bachelors or currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
Significant UI design & communications experience
A strong track record of positioning an organization to achieve tangible outcomes in a competitive communications environment
Open Position — Programs Director
Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Director of Programs will be responsible for the operational success of Empathy FX International’s Travel Program, ensuring seamless team management and development and program delivery.
Develop and plan the International Travel Program
Screen, interview, and decide on all travel candidate applications
Oversee all travel program needs, including the application process, onboarding, and delivery
Work with multiple vendors to ensure program delivery in Ghana
This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual to grow and further develop a proven program. The successful candidate will lead the International Travel Program, partner with the ED and work collaboratively with a cross-cultural team.
Specific requirements include:
Bachelors or currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
Demonstrated success developing and evaluating program models, and selecting and successfully operationalizing innovative programs
